  3. Kurt Vile :: “Baby’s Arms”

    For one of my favorite tracks on the entire album, I was pretty bummed with this video. Everything I had pictured about frolicking in a meadow, drinking orange juice on a sunny porch and tracing the outlines of curls with loose fingers are missing. The video’s imagery, in my opinion, has an evident disconnect with Smoke Ring For My Halo. I’m sure it would be perfect for something else, seeing that both the song and footage are wonderful on their own.

     

  4. Tamaryn/Dee Dee (Dum Dum Girls) are Les Demoniaques. “Teenage Lust” (Jesus & Mary Chain) is due out 7/12 on a one-sided postcard flexi via True Panther. The pressing will be limited to 1000 copies without a repress, so get your hands on them while you can.
